The Benefits
I believe in the power of individualized attention to elevate your wellness journey. Pilates is not just a workout; it's a personalized wellness tool crafted specifically for you. Posture, current activity, flexibility, injuries, surgeries, and goals are all factored together for a tailored 55 minutes of movement.
Your every move is guided, ensuring a session that aligns with your body, goals, and pace.
Private sessions, Duet sessions and Small Group Classes give you options. Students in small group do not have to meet at the level or have the same goals to practice together. Options are given to tailor to your level and body to meet you exactly where you are.
You do not need to lose weight or be flexible to start. Pilates improves strength, flexibility and posture. Pilates can alleviate aches and pains, reduce muscle imbalances, promote body awareness, improve balance and build coordination. Pilates is used to recover from surgeries and injuries, as well as prepare for surgeries and reduce the risk of injuries.
Pilates is ideal for cross training and aids in ability for other high impact activities (think Running, HITT workouts, etc).
Pilates is for every body. Current clients boast of benefits related to hip and knee replacements, spinal stenosis, osteoporosis, ankle injuries, general back pain, disc injuries (degenerative, slipped, bulging, herniated), vertigo, ruptured Achilles, Scoliosis, Sciatica and more.
Pilates has also helped improve long distance running, develop tennis, pickle-ball and golf skills. Professional dancers and athletes use pilates as a tool to prevent injury, maintain strength and build flexibility.
